Sen Uesaki is an archivist and lecturer at Keio University Art Center (KUAC) whose projects focus on the design of archives for Japanese avant-garde art. His recent projects include Sogetsu Art Center Records (c.1958–1971) and Takiguchi Shuzo Papers (c.1945–1979). His authored articles include: "Okazaki Kenjiro's Diptychs," Saison Art Program Journal, no. 10 (March 2003); "Robert Smithson and the Printed Matter," Idea, no. 320 (January 2007); "Pavement: Kimura Shohachi and Ed Ruscha," On the Road (The National Museum of Modern Art, Tokyo, 2011); "Around a Place of Consignation, of 'Inscription' Or of 'Recording': Archives and Yokoo Tadanori," Eureka, no. 618 (November 2012). He was the organizer of the exhibition Into the Penumbra of the Printed Matter: Sogetsu Art Center, 1958–1971 (KUAC, 2009).
