Kelly Sidley is Curatorial Assistant in the Department of Photography. She received her PhD in Art History from the Institute of Fine Arts, New York University, in 2006. She has taught in the undergraduate art history departments at New York University and Pace University, both in New York City. From 2007 to 2015 she presented lectures, led gallery talks, and taught courses for MoMA's Education Department. She has assisted with numerous MoMA exhibitions, including Out of Time: Contemporary Art from the Collection (2006-2007); Comic Abstraction: Image-Breaking, Image-Making (2007); Aernout Mik (2009), and Louise Lawler: WHY PICTURES NOW (opening April 2017).
